This is what the florist sign looked like before

I had to strip the old layers of paint off this
front and back. It was very old and very
rough. I did this for my favorite Florist in
my town.

Roxboro Florists New Sign

This sign was painted with the same image front and back.
All done with acrylic paint and sealed for outdoors.
I want to thank Roxboro Florist for letting me do this for them.
Thanks Gail, Pam and all the rest!

This was an old coal burning fireplace. When the owner of this house no longer used coal for heating, they had it covered with a type of cement. I painted it to look like it had tiles on it and painted an opening. This was painted with acrylic paints.

I was happy to finish this. I had to lay on my tummy to paint the bottom part. What a sight that must have been!

Ok, so. How do I know what to paint?
It starts with a picture in my mind. This is
the inside of an upstairs bonus room
at a house that I am going
to paint soon, I hope. This is just
one of the things I saw in my mind. The last
time we spoke she said she liked the stone
walls at the bottom and maybe a blue sky with
white clouds on the ceiling. They put sheetrock
where the planks were going to go. I think the
blue sky would be perfect. This is just a rough sketch!

A mother had this painted for her daughter. The daughter loved this cartoon. They were painted on 2 doors that go on a cabinet in the daughters room. Doors are about 4 ft tall. I used spray paint and acrylic paints.

Just a close up of a rock wall I painted with my little lizard friend, Lizzy ! Ok so where is the wall? Maybe a little to close huh? I will go take another picture.

A very nice woman I new when working at a frame shop, found out I was an artist, so she brought a bag of ostrich eggs she wanted me to paint. This is one of them. Painted with acrylic paints.
